The Gentle Healer!

I was first introduced to the Bach Flower Remedies at an AGM hosted by Toy Library Ireland, a group my son and I were members of. It must have been about thirty-five years ago now. I attended out of curiosity, eager to learn what it was all about.
Along with connecting with other parents of children with additional needs, like my son, I had the opportunity to attend a workshop on the remedies. The practitioner leading the session was calm and relaxed, sharing stories of how the remedies helped her and those she had treated. I admired her tranquility because I, on the other hand, was far from calm or relaxed at the time!
Despite my initial nervousness, I became quite intrigued by the remedies and decided to purchase Rescue Remedy. Though I wasn't entirely sure how to use it, I had plenty of opportunities to figure it out, as I had young children who were always getting up to mischief! I also bought Red Chestnut, though I wasn't sure why at the time. It later became clear when it turned out to be a great help for my son when he had difficulty settling at school.
Fast forward thirty-five years, and I’m now a trained and Registered Bach Foundation Practitioner. There are 38 remedies in the full collection, all of which are derived from flowers, trees, and plants. These essences help to peel away negative emotional layers, uncovering the root cause of the problem. They carry no cautions or contraindications, which is a significant benefit, particularly for those taking medication, as they don’t interfere with conventional treatments in any way.
Having gained extensive experience with the remedies (part of our training involves using them on ourselves), I can honestly say that they’ve helped me heal countless emotional disturbances, and I continue to benefit from their support.
I often refer to them as "the gentle healer" because that’s exactly what they are—gentle, easy to use, and incredibly effective. After a consultation with a trained practitioner, a remedy mix tailored to your needs is created, which can contain up to seven different remedies. The recommended dosage is four drops taken in water four times a day. However, this is just the minimum dose, and you can take them more often if necessary.
In the image, you can see the remedies Aspen and Cherry Plum, both of which help with fear, and Star of Bethlehem, which offers support for sadness, grief, and the effects of shock and bad news. These remedies are even more powerful when used alongside other therapies like Reflexology, Reiki, and Holistic Life Coaching.
It feels especially full circle now that I’m a trained practitioner of the very therapy that first piqued my interest. I'm thrilled to be able to offer Bach Flower Remedies alongside my other healing practices.
So, how does "the gentle healer" sound to you?
