My work tools are simple easy & authentic, and my mission is empowerment. I have brought that statement with me from day one of my training as a holistic practitioner thirty years ago.

In my experience, if we keep things simple then they become easy! If we want to work on our personal development then we have to be honest and authentic. But sometimes we make things a lot more complicated than they need to be, by adding ‘stuff’ that doesn’t need to be there, or getting involved in drama, do you agree?
A lot of our behaviour is unconscious, 40% imagine that! Our subconscious mind operates 95% of our mind and the conscious is 5%! All our experiences are stored in our subconscious mind, which is in different parts of our body. So it's no surprise that we can do behaviours we are not aware of like, getting involved in drama and adding issues to the situation that do not belong. That is simply called a habit and that's all it is a habit! A habit is behaviour, so if a habit has been learned, it can be unlearned too!
When I am in consultation with clients and bring this concept to their attention, they sometimes look at me as if I have twenty heads! Yes, information and events get stored in different parts of the body, not in our head as some were led to believe growing up.
Fascinating information isn’t it; our body is an incredible mechanism. It does so many jobs without us even asking it to, all the more reason to take care of it in the best possible way. Little exercises and check-ins are a simple way to stay in good health.
There are lots of simple exercises in my therapist's toolbox that I teach to clients all the time. They have all been tried, tested, and proven by me to be very effective. How do you look after your self-care routine? Do you have one, if the answer is yes, is it simple and easy? Or is it so complicated that you get bored and can’t be bothered? Either way, it's okay, as we are human. But it is never too late to start a new regime, one that is simple and will continue to support you.

There are lots we can choose from, making the best decision for you, that will help you continue with your practices, eventually leading to the desired results.
Ah yes, practice that's a word. All changes happen when we take action and practice, whatever we are introducing to our regime. But keep practicing that is the key to success, but make it simple and easy too!
